77/79GHz Millimeter-wave Automotive Radar
The 77/79GHz Millimeter-wave Automotive Radar fully meets the requirement of unmanned performance of ADAS and L3 levels. It can monitor multiple targets in front of the vehicle in real time and obtain the distance, relative speed and azimuth angle information of the front target. The radar system applies 2 Tx and 4 Rx structure. The 2 separated Tx antennas have different antenna beam width, which afford long range, medium range and short range detection mode. The 4 Rx antennas simultaneously receive the echo signals from target, and use digital beamforming (DBF) technology to perform array signal processing, which greatly improves the angle resolution and precision of radar horizontal measurement. The maximum detecting distance is 250 meters with 0.6 meter resolution. This radar sensor can be applied in the ADAS system for the application of FCW (Forward Collision Warning), ACC (Auto Cruise Control) and AEB (Auto Emergency Brake). Compared with the video and laser sensor, millimeter wave radar has the ability in long range detection and will not be affected by the weather and light condition, which means it can work whole day and weather. We have mature ADAS integrated control algorithms: FCW, ACC, AEB, LDW, LKA, BSD and image processing algorithms.
